We wanted a networking event that didn't feel like one.
Connect Over a Cuppa began with a frustration. Edward Ryder, founder of Biskit Ltd, kept going to business breakfasts and leaving with cold coffee and colder small talk. So he made a different kind of room. One with a speaker worth listening to, a table worth sitting at, and a brew worth lingering over.
What it is
A monthly gathering, on the third Thursday, hosted in Harrogate. One speaker, one theme, a handful of tables, and ninety minutes that go somewhere.
We've heard from neuroscientists, seaweed farmers, precision engineers, founders who built household Yorkshire names, and founders quietly building the next ones.
The thread is always the same: people doing serious work, willing to talk honestly about how they do it.
